PostSubject: So how is the wait going?   Sat Nov 22, 2008 6:30 pm

Haven't heard anything from the "Sage" front, hope it's progressing well! Looking forward to seeing pics of the new babe!

Been very, very busy here. The hunters were gone for a week (got 5 deer) and my SIL and I had a great time shopping and "doing". It was fun. Now I'm tired. Hubby home, meat in freezer, house clean again, and most of the laundry caught up. BIG JOB!! Oh, and the stores are pretty well cleaned out! lol! Serves them well for going out for another week, don't you think??? LOL

Anyway, we have the rest of today and tomorrow to finish catching up here. It isn't our Thanksgiving weekend, so back to normal on Monday I suppose.

So, how's it going?????

No baby yet! LOL...I'll post as soon as something happens, but so far, the baby's fans will have to wait a little while longer as she has decided to keep them waiting! LOL..should be soon though.

The weather here is cold cold cold. I updated the sagewood blog with that very post..'baby it's cold outside!" LOL..but I'm sure you're experiencing much the same weather.
I'm on a can't sleep binge tonight, so everyone else is asleep..I'm sitting here updated blogs and baby pages! LOL Still have to update the Hedgewife blog, but my wait till tomorrow to do that one.
I'll be cooking Thanksgiving here for the 3 of us (or 3 1/2 of us really)...planning a very small but traditional feast. Not too much of any ONE thing, but enough. Hard to cook for three.

Glad the hubby got so many deer..5 wow..that's good! It sure does sound like you've been a busy busy little girl lately!
I've got some laundry to do here tomorrow..and dinner to cook of course, but not much to do but wait..and believe it or not..I'm kinda missing home already..but not too much! LOL
I am hoping it will snow here soon..so I can take pics and make the hubby mad. (hehehe).

The DIL was starting to get 'very uncomfortable' tonight..so hopefully tomorrow will bring about a 'change and possibly even an 'entrance' to the newest member. We'll see!!

Have a great day tomorrow, the last of the weekend and don't work too hard!
Chat soon.

Boy, those babies have a time table of their own from my recollection. My first was 3 weeks (yes, 21 full days) overdue, C-section in the end because he was stubborn, and shed a skin like a snake a week or so later!! Guess he was just too comfortable there!! LOL

Actually, we are experiencing a very mild November, freezes at night but clear and sunny during the day! The hunters were terribly upset, much better hunting in the snow. You won't hear any complaints from me though!!! No snow or ice on the roads. YEAH!

I forgot to say (I was really just too darn tired) that while SIL was here we took a trip to the States for the day. Well, the exchange is lousy but we love to go there and get some different stuff. Anyway, at the border my van was smelling that horrible sulpher smell, didn't know why. Usually catalytic converter, but why??? I'm not the mechanic, my DH is and HE WAS HUNTING!! So then the parcel we picked up didn't have a packing slip in it from Ebay and they were actually going to send us back to Kalispell until we got it!!!!! Luckily they weren't busy and could look up the sale on Ebay. After we left there we were in the middle of nowhere and hit a coyote! Ok, no stopping. Dead or alive, don't care. Very dark, 3 women alone, and no cell service. Got home safely, tired, went over all our "treasures" and went to bed! The next morning we tried to go out for a bit and the battery was dead. Totally! So.....call BCAA (your AAA) for a jump and get it back to the shop where my husband works (when he is in town!! Sad ) The guys checked it over, the darn thing had actually boiled dry! Yup, that was the horrible smell. Now, if we had stopped for the coyote, would we have got going again?????? Scary. So.....have to pay the deductible for the insurance, had to buy a new battery, got stung at the border for duty, but had a great time anyway! Why complain, we were doing what we love......SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!

Why do all these things happen when the hubby is away??????????????????

Just gotta tell you, the "luck" didn't end there....I was frantically making ornies for the swap to finish up on time later in the week. Well, first we put in a whole batch of cinnamon ornies we cut and were drying in the oven. Then I stained not 1 but 6 santa ornies and put them on a separate sheet on the top rack.....they burned!!!! First time ever, they actually burned. So I threw them out and started over. Now I'm just a LITTLE upset. To boot, I learned just today on the radio show that I could have saved them with a bleach mixture. Too little too late. I should have emailed Vicky and asked, didn't think of it. Anyway................yesterday my computer completely gave up the ghost! What the heck?????? Thank goodness I'm backed up and also have a laptop, so I'm ok, but I'm kind of wondering what is going to break down next?????????????????????????????????????????????

Shhhhhhhh!! That last sentence you typed..NEVER NEVER say that..for as sure as you do SOMETHING else will break! Shhhhh!!!

Wow..you really did have some rough 'roads' didn't you?? A coyote?? WOWSA! Glad you didn't stop..really..good call!
Think about all the car problems this way, it's an easy fix and it could have been soooo much worse! The reason it always happens when the hubbies are not around, is to remind us..we are strong and CAN 'get the job done, no matter the job'.....Smile That's how I look at it anyway. Very Happy
Sorry to hear about your ornies..I'm actually kinda missing my crafts We don't have much to do around here right now, and there have been several times I could have 'worked on something'...but alas, don't have the 'supplies' here. (sigh)

Well, the DIL had another doc visit today, her back started hurting this morning, and the baby has been doing the 'ball up and get tight' basketball shape since yesterday. Soooo doc said, if she wasn't in hospital naturally by Wednesday morning, to go ahead and check in between 6 & 6:30 for an inducement. Soooo we should have a new bundle around here by Wednesday night!
I told the DIL yesterday, "that baby is not going to show up till the first snowfall of the season!"
So guess what? LOL It started snowing this evening. We've got about an inch only, but it came QUICK..all within about a 2 hour period. The yard and all the roads are completely snow covered..all white and pretty. I did just step outside a min ago, and unfortunately the snow has turned to rain..a light rain, but rain non the less. So we'll see what that leads to tomorrow. Sad Could make for bad roads.

I'm halfway expecting to get woke up tonight with the 'my water just broke' sentence..and I've got my fingers crossed for it actually.
I've taken her for walks just about every day since Friday of last week. I've done my best to tell her "walking will help in the long run..trust me!" so..we've walked.

But..I guess I'll jet off here for now..get some sleep since it's after midnight. Never know, I may not get much between now and Wednesday night! LOL

Will post something soon!
