			<title>Christmas villiage on the move!</title>

			<description>Many years ago I had painted, one by one a mini christmas villiage. (lighted) It was so adorable. I set it up with a train running round it and everyone loved it...including me. 

Well.... I lost that in the house fire we had in 2001..

It has taken me this many years to consider another one, so this past spring I ordered several houses..unpainted. Now, my intention was to paint one every once in a while so that it would be done by this Christmas. BUT..that didn't happen.

			<description>An old craft that I started a year or so ago and have been semi working on that. Last year I think it was, I cut most of my scraps into usable quilt pieces...all squares of different sizes and began sewing some together. My goal was to do a quilt entirely by hand, no machine use at all.

Well, I started putting the squares together again the other day. I'll post pics on the blog soon.

 

It's a basic nine patch design and I've tried to match up the squares. I'm hoping it will look like an  ...</description>

One set of crafts for general purposes that help you out on a day to day basis. Usefull 'crafts', the ones that create something of USE..such as canning, and quilts and gardening. Do you consider these 'crafts' or skills??

 

And one set of crafts that lend a sense of beauty, such as decorative, non usefull in the terms of usefull above. Ones that create comfort for the home in a more visual way. Are these crafts or 'art? </description>
