One says "Some people, no matter how old they get, never lost their beauty - they merely move it from their faces into their hearts." and the other one is "Family, a journey to forever". They are 2 of my favorites for sure. A friend makes me frames that are perfect, so I finish them and put them together. Just love stitchin', so rewarding. What are you working on these days? I've got the second grandbaby, this time a girl, name to be Shannon due on Nov 21..I owe her a quilt and haven't cut the first square for it! ACK!! So, my goal for next week is to get the design planned and get the squares cut out and at least started on putting the top together if not getting it all sewn together so that I can get it on the frame and get it quilted! Don't have a pattern for it, just kinda doing some practice on some different stitches. I've got a book that simply has a list of all the many stitches you can do with embroidery, so thought I'd put together a sampler of the varied stitches. I'll post a pic on the blog as soon as I can get a little bit more done on it. I plan on putting the alphabet on there too (as most samplers had) and making it look a little old with some tea/coffee stain. ...
