Having stripped the guest bed, and collected all the towels, I've got extra laundry. So I started early this morning, basket ready. Load after load, I seperated it all as it was washed. I tossed the small things, like socks and t-shirts in the dryer (collecting all day till I get a large enough load to warrent using the dryer) but all the other stuff, quilts, sheets, towels and such have gone on the line! ... We got our electric bill the other day, and I think I'll have to hang EVERYTHING now! I always hang sheets and towels on the line, but with the new electric bill we got, because of the added air conditioning, I think I'll have to hang it all! I did lower our thermostat by about 5degrees, and I've cut everything off that I can, but oh my the cost of electric! WHEW! Air conditioning is a must here in the south, so I'll have to use less elsewhere ... I've discussed this once before on my blog, but,...How many 'disposable' items do you buy? We all buy toilet paper I'm sure, but do you buy paper towels, wipes, paper plates, etc? I don't buy disposable items EXCEPT toilet paper and paper plates. We do use paper plates round here a good bit specially in the summer. Don't usually fill up the land fills with them though, I burn them. I don't buy styrofoam, my son would kill me! LOL So what disposable items do you life with and ...
